AI agents for your business
An AI agent takes over tasks on its own — answering inquiries, consolidating data, producing reports. Escalt develops such agents individually or integrates existing AI tools into your systems.
What is an AI agent?
An AI agent is a software system that carries out tasks independently while accessing your existing systems. The difference to a chatbot: a chatbot answers questions. An AI agent can also act — write e-mails, retrieve data, make decisions and interact with other systems.
What AI agents do in practice
Many companies spend hours every day on repetitive work: answering inquiries, gathering data, sorting e-mails, compiling reports. These are exactly the tasks AI agents take over.
Answering customer inquiries automatically
Incoming inquiries by e-mail or contact form are analysed, answered or routed to the right person — in seconds, not hours. Your team focuses on the cases that genuinely need attention.
Searching your internal knowledge base
Your team asks a question, the agent finds the answer — in manuals, documents or internal systems. No more lengthy searching, no more “who knows this again?”.
Generating reports automatically
Data from different systems is consolidated, evaluated and delivered as a finished report — daily, weekly or at the push of a button.
Processing e-mails and distributing tasks
Incoming messages are read, categorized and forwarded to the right place in the company — automatically, traceably and without anything getting lost.
Development or integration — whatever fits you
Not every company needs a custom build. And not every off-the-shelf solution really fits. That is why Escalt works in both directions:
Developing custom AI agents
If your processes are specific or existing tools do not fit, Escalt develops an agent tailored exactly to your workflows.
Integrating existing AI tools
Many capable AI solutions already exist. Escalt evaluates which of them fits your company and integrates it into your systems so that it is immediately usable.
In both cases: you do not need to be an expert in artificial intelligence.
How the collaboration works
- Initial consultation & analysis: where does your company lose time, and where would an AI agent make the biggest difference? No technology lecture — a concrete conversation about your day-to-day work.
- Concept & implementation plan: what gets built or integrated, how long it takes, what it costs. Transparent, with no hidden items.
- Development & integration: implementation with continuous coordination so the result truly fits.
- Launch & support: after the launch, Escalt remains your contact for adjustments and extensions.
Digitalbonus Bayern: up to 50% subsidy
The Digitalbonus Bayern programme funds digitalization projects of small and medium-sized companies with up to 50% of the eligible costs: up to 7,500 euros with Digitalbonus Standard and up to 30,000 euros with Digitalbonus Plus. In the initial consultation, Escalt checks whether your project qualifies and helps you prepare the application. The company must submit the application itself via its ELSTER business account — that is a requirement of the programme. Important: the project must not have started yet; a binding order already counts as a start.
Frequently asked questions about AI agents
What is the difference between a chatbot and an AI agent?
A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent can additionally carry out tasks on its own — write e-mails, retrieve data, make decisions and interact with other systems. It acts, it does not just talk.
Do I have to replace my existing systems?
No. AI agents are developed or integrated so that they work with your existing tools — whether ERP, CRM, e-mail or internal databases.
How long does the implementation take?
It depends on the scope. Simple integrations are ready in a few weeks. Custom developments usually take two to four months.
Does this make sense for small companies too?
Especially for small companies an AI agent can achieve a lot, because every automated hour is directly noticeable. Escalt works with companies from ten employees upwards.
What does an AI agent cost?
There is no blanket answer — it depends on the scope. In the initial consultation you get a concrete estimate instead of vague figures. Many AI projects are also eligible for funding through the Digitalbonus Bayern.
Are AI projects eligible for the Digitalbonus Bayern?
Frequently, yes. The Digitalbonus Bayern supports small and medium-sized companies with up to 50% of the eligible costs — up to 7,500 euros (Standard) or up to 30,000 euros (Plus). AI agents often qualify. Escalt checks this in the initial consultation and supports the application process.
Often combined
AI agents have the greatest effect when the underlying processes and systems are considered as well.
Where would an AI agent make the biggest difference for you?
A short conversation about your daily work is enough to find out.
